OUTDOOR LOVING PARTNERS
Founded in 1974, Oregon Wild (formerly the Oregon Natural Resources Council or ONRC) has been instrumental in securing permanent legislative protection for some of Oregon's most precious landscapes, including nearly 1.7 million acres of Wilderness, 95,000 acres of forests in Bull Run/Little Sandy watersheds (to safeguard the quality of Portland's water supply) and almost 1,800 miles of Wild & Scenic Rivers.
Since opening our doors in 1994, we have been inspired by passion. We dreamed of building a different kind of climbing gym, one that doesn’t just offer the best climbing, yoga and fitness, but also has that something else.
Mt. Hood Meadows Ski Resort operates on a special use permit on the Mt. Hood National Forest, offering some of the most spectacular skiing and snowboarding in the Northwest. The resort is just 90 minutes away from Portland, and it delivers a big mountain experience you'd expect to travel much farther to enjoy. The resort sprawls across Mt. Hood's southeast flank, the sunny, wind-protected side of Mt. Hood. Meadows' playful terrain welcomes and challenges all levels of skiers and snowboarders.
Constructed in 1937, Timberline Lodge stands on the south slope of Mt. Hood at an elevation of 6,000 feet. This beautiful 55,000 square foot structure rises out of a pristine alpine landscape and is still being used for its original intent – a magnificent ski lodge and mountain retreat for everyone to enjoy. Legendary and awe-inspiring, it's a tribute to the rugged spirit of the Pacific Northwest. Declared a National Historic Landmark in 1977, Timberline Lodge is one of Oregon’s most popular tourist attractions, drawing nearly two million visitors every year.
Our mission is to create amazing outdoor experiences for you. And here’s how we do it: We provide you with trained guides who get you off the beaten track and keep you safe while giving you an adventure you won’t forget. We take you to waterfalls, hot springs, mountain summits, breweries, surf breaks, you name it. We handle all the planning and problems, and you show up and have a great time.
Since 1988, the mission of the Portland Rock Gym has been to teach and train rock climbing indoors, as well as celebrate and preserve our local cliffs and boulders outside.
Based in Portland, Oregon, we are in the heart of one of the most beautiful regions in our country, close to the mountains, high desert and the incredible Oregon and Washington coasts. Our capable 4x4 truck campers and trailers were built for backcountry adventure and come kitted with pop-up campers or roof-top tents, and all necessary camping equipment, so you can overland in style and comfort.

Unlike many organizations dedicated to the worthy goal of someday finding a cure for cancer, CCA is all about creating joy today.
