Founded in 1974, Oregon Wild (formerly the Oregon Natural Resources Council or ONRC) has been instrumental in securing permanent legislative protection for some of Oregon's most precious landscapes, including nearly 1.7 million acres of Wilderness, 95,000 acres of forests in Bull Run/Little Sandy watersheds (to safeguard the quality of Portland's water supply) and almost 1,800 miles of Wild & Scenic Rivers.
Since opening our doors in 1994, we have been inspired by passion.  We dreamed of building a different kind of climbing gym, one that doesn’t just offer the best climbing, yoga and fitness, but also has that something else.
Mt. Hood Meadows Ski Resort operates on a special use permit on the Mt. Hood National Forest, offering some of the most spectacular skiing and snowboarding in the Northwest. The resort is just 90 minutes away from Portland, and it delivers a big mountain experience you'd expect to travel much farther to enjoy. The resort sprawls across Mt. Hood's southeast flank, the sunny, wind-protected side of Mt. Hood. Meadows' playful terrain welcomes and challenges all levels of skiers and snowboarders.
Constructed in 1937, Timberline Lodge stands on the south slope of Mt. Hood at an elevation of 6,000 feet. This beautiful 55,000 square foot structure rises out of a pristine alpine landscape and is still being used for its original intent – a magnificent ski lodge and mountain retreat for everyone to enjoy. Legendary and awe-inspiring, it's a tribute to the rugged spirit of the Pacific Northwest. Declared a National Historic Landmark in 1977, Timberline Lodge is one of Oregon’s most popular tourist attractions, drawing nearly two million visitors every year.

Not only are the trails an outstanding, fun adventure: but they showcase our beautiful Oregon! These events will take you into the mountains. Enjoy your ride while raising money for a worthwhile cause. You will get more than your money's worth while fighting all forms of cancer and raising awareness to help impact those you care about and love.

The Oregon State Park system is one of the most popular in the United States. Every year, we serve an estimated 46 million daytime visitors (4th in the nation), and 2.5 million campers (8th in the nation). There are 255 state parks, including camping at 58 parks, open on 109,000 acres.

The BLM’s mission to sustain the health, diversity, and productivity of America’s public lands for the use and enjoyment of present and future generations. Most of this land is located in the 12 Western states, including Alaska.
The Children's Cancer Association (CCA) knows that for seriously ill children and their families every moment is precious. That’s why our programs leverage music, nature, friendship, and resources to create transformative moments of joy for 30,000 children, teens, and their family members each year. Unlike many organizations dedicated to the worthy goal of someday finding a cure for cancer, CCA is all about creating joy today.
