The Women’s Bajada off-road runner’s variable lacing system and built-in articulated support frame will hug the Bajada’s 8.5 ounces to your foot while you fly down the trail with no fear, trusting to the aggressive Gryptonite lugged outsole to grip whatever the trail throws at you. When the day gets hot the nylon mesh uppers allow heat and moisture to escape and the reinforced Trail Shield keeps your toes safe from bruise-inflicting stones and roots. Montrail’s Women’s Bajada features an articulated midfoot support frame for a customized fit and a 10mm heel-to-toe drop.

"I do like the cushioning of the shoe .I need a wide forefoot due to foot issues but have a narrow ankle, I was able to adjust the shoe so it fit fine. The toe height is a little low compared to most of my other shoes but it did stretch a bit on my runs.Performed well on the rocky trail and felt flexible yet sturdy enough for me. Had no issues with feeling rocks under the sole and it had a good grip on other off road areas as well. Well ventilated maybe too much as when i hit a sandy area I had what felt like 2 inches of sand in front of my toes. Big issue I don't like is that the tongue is not attached and moves all over the place. I had to stop and empty my shoe during a run twice ! Sand, dirt and small rocks. I will keep the shoe for the hard packed trails and rocks etc but will be looking for another for sandy areas."

  • Pros: Breathable, Good Sole, Lightweight
  • Best Uses: Running, running trails, sand to rocks
  • Sizing: Feels True to Size
  • Width: Feels True to Size
