Dakine Terminal Backpack
REVIEWED BY: RICHARD 2009-07-18
"I purchased a Dakine Terminal 2100 Cu In rucksack in February 2005 and I have used it on a daily basis for the past 4 1/2 years. As a former Special Forces Soldier I have carried my share of rucksacks. I now travel extensively in the lower 48 US, Canada and Western Europe and this ruck goes everywhere with me. Most rucksacks are either too large to go under an airline seat or too poorly designed to make items accessible. I have tried over a dozen different brands and styles, but only the Dakine Terminal is proven to do everything I need it to do. It will go under any airline seat even when it has 40 Lbs of stuff in it, including commuter and regional aircraft seats! While mine is still in good shape, I am happy to know it is still available. I cut off the hip band which I never use, and I replaced the aluminum zipper pulls with aftermarket nylon cord pulls in 2008. The zippers are now easier to operate and the pulls don’t clink anymore. I suggest only that Dakine consider offering this ruck with no padding in"
