Burton
We say Burton, you hear, think, and crave snowboarding. There is no bigger
brand in the world of single-planked snow sports, and for good reason. Burton
is known for producing the highest quality gear by pushing the limits with new
technology and innovation, year in and year out. They not only make riders smile
with a line of boards that contains 60+ new models each year, but Burton
also owns a number of sub-brands that cover you from head to toe in everything
shredtastic you could possibly imagine. But it hasn’t always been that way.
It was way back in the ‘70s that Jake Burton Carpenter was inspired by
the original snowboard, the snurfer, and began modifying and improving upon
it. The year 1977 rolled around and Jake moved to Londonderry, Vermont where
he founded Burton
Snowboards. Original designs used bindings resembling those on
water skis, had a leash tied to the nose with a handle the rider used to steer,
and Jake applied the polyurethane in his garage, wearing a scuba mask. Obviously,
it has been a long journey to the top of the podium.
Next time you are riding the chair up for another run, don’t forget to
thank Jake. It was his initial campaigning that first persuaded resorts to begin
opening their lifts to snowboarders.R.I.P.
Burton snowboard jacket mens is a mouthful but that's what the people want. Well here it is. You can find a great selection of men's Burton snowboard jackets here.
One of the longest running models of any snowboard company is the Burton Custom.
This is the stick that other companies watch and strive to replicate. The Easy
V rocker of the TWC Standard Snowboard makes it a true do-it-all board that excels
everywhere on the mountain. Ladies can get the same flavor on the Burton
Flying V.
Of course your board is going to need some buddies and Burton takes care
of that business with gear like the Cartel
EST Binding and the Rampant Boot. Burton employs frontline technology
with features like NeoPadding, FullBED cushioning, and Rad Pad to give you the
coziest high performance ride of your life.
Much of Burton’s snowboarding outerwear is waterproof and GORE-TEX infused
and backed by a lifetime warranty. So, you can't go wrong with gear like Burton
Jackets; the Poacher jacket, the Arctic Jacket and for the ladies, the Tabloid
jacket or the Deliruium jacket, that is, unless you hate equipment that refuses
to quit.
Burton has earned the reputation for biggest, baddest, and raddest snowboard
company season after season. With product lines so extensive, varied, and packed
with greatness to deliver the best gear any rider can dream of, Burton
Snowboards deserves each and every pillow on their throne.
