Great pack for lift served/backcountry "yo-yo" sessions!

REVIEWED BY:    2014-05-07

"I bought this primarily to use in carrying med supplies while on ski patrol shifts. It works extremely well as a ski/day pack as well. For lift served, I don't need to carry much - just water, snacks and maybe an extra layer - unlike bigger packs, I don't feel like I'm getting pushed off the chair or what not. For access, its super convenient - I can get to supplies quickly just by sliding the pack around to the front - pockets face up so pulling out what I need is easy. Great pack - as long as you aren't needing to carry too much. Won't carry your skis or a snowboard, but skins, probe, shovel, extra layer and snacks; no problem!"

  • Pros: Durable, Easy to Access Items, Good Design, Lightweight, Water Resistant, minimalist, can wear on a chair lift
  • Best Uses: Backcountry Skiing, Downhill Skiing, Ski Patrol pack
