The Basic snowboard from Yes has got you covered for stomping all around the mountainside with ease of use, fitting for both the intermediate and beginners out there. With Yes' Directional CamRock tech giving your tip the extra lift to float about the powder, the underfoot camber adds to the edge response while the slight rocker at the tail minimizes those catches so you can feel free to switch things up however you see fit. Set with a true twin stance, The Basic snowboard from Yes makes the most of the saying, "If it's not broke, don't fix it." Given that, The Basic comes constructed with a Master Composite Wood Core that strikes a harmonious balance between weight, performance and power; giving you the capacity to make the most of your shred-time. More so, with a Die-cut base and Biax glass adding some smooth reinforcement to your wild romps you can be sure The Basic snowboard from Yes will be able to handle the beating you inflict upon it. As for how much you, yourself, can handle that remains to be seen.

  Good Beginner Board!

REVIEWED BY: DAVID    2013-02-05

"I recently purchase a Yes Basic Snowboard for my son. He is just getting into snowboarding. I wanted something that was for a beginner but something he could grow into as he advances in skill. For the price and what I have researched this board does just that. He has used it about a dozen times this season and seems to be getting the hang of it. Its lightweight and pretty durable. He has ate it pretty hard a few times and board still works. So that is good news. "

  Good park board

REVIEWED BY: MAXYWAXY    2013-01-04

"The Basic 146 is great for the park and half pipe. I've been snowboarding for a few years now and this is my 3rd board and so far I really like it. It flexes well for me when I'm in the park and it's stable at high speeds when I am on the groomers. The red on the bottom of the board is pretty sweet. "

  shred hard

REVIEWED BY: SHRED4LIFE    2012-11-03

"I got the 157 I am 5'8" and 180lbs and it works great with my height and weight. I would recommended the yes basic snowboard for someone like me who likes a little bit of the groomers and the powder. It's easy to turn the board to carve and it feel stable. I dig the black and green graphics! Love that is sayYES."
