Description: Voile Charger Skis 2013
Voile's charger skis for men are an unbeatably light touring-style ski. The minimal weight makes them comfortable and conserves energy on the ascent. At the same time, they have unstoppable float on powder. This slimmer and ultra-nimble ski has won awards because of its exquisite construction. Made with plenty of attention to detail, the skis have traditional sidecut and underfoot camber. They also have rockered and tapered tips as well as a tapered tail. The tail has only a very slight rise. Additional features of the Charger skis include a sintered base and an early rise tip design. The lightweight core is made from composite Aspen wood, which is Voile's signature lightweight core design. The Charger has a life-altering ski design, which provides the best of both worlds on the ascent and descent for telemark skiers. They are absolutely unbeatable on backcountry ascents, and they provide a totally new experience compared with more traditional designs.

Good for High Speeds
REVIEWED BY: STAFF REVIEW BY JOHN 2013-04-01
"A good stable ski that holds turn well. I was able to get going pretty fast down the mountain and felt pretty secure. The Voile Charger ski is named charger for a reason. They are pretty bad ass."

"9+ at 191 not an A/T weight, but these skis are extremely stable for their capped construction. Tortionally stiff. Not a big fan of the mount position."
Specialized ski for soft snow
REVIEWED BY: STAFF REVIEW BY ROGERS 2012-12-25
"The Voile charger is a specialized ski that's sticky on groomed runs. It's perfect on soft snow, it's a quiver ski."
If You want to go fast, this is the one.

"Very stable, smooth turn initiation overall. They seem a bit heavy for AT but it's a blast on the way down the hill. The Volkl Charger skis live up to it's name."
Really Great for Resort & Side Country
REVIEWED BY: STAFF REVIEW BY MARTHA 2012-11-14
"The Voile Charger skis are a little heavy for touring. Greatly improved top sheet. This would be really good for a one ski guider for a resort & side country. I felt pretty comfortable skiing at fast speeds."
