TNF Vault-good for school
REVIEWED BY: LAWERENCE_SWEEN43 2012-07-08
"Quality, durable and a decently price backpack for a college student. I have had The North Face Vault for a few years now and all the zippers and compartments still work and there are no holes. I am an English Major in college and I haul around a lot of books that get pretty heavy. The Shakespeare anthology is a beast! The vault seems to handle my book loads and is comfortable to lug around between classes on campus. It also fits my 15in laptop nicely. It doesn’t have as many pockets and compartments as some of those other North Face backpacks but for the price, which is significantly less than the others, is a good purchase for a college student. "

My kid approves
REVIEWED BY: EDDIE 2012-06-08
" Apparently North Face backpacks are all the rave these days in junior high. My son wanted one and since he is a pretty good kid I purchased him one. He got The North Face Vault Daypack. I thought it would be a little larger, but it is adequately sized for all his books, school supplies, jacket and lunches. The inside little pouch with all the compartments is pretty cool for assorted pens, pencils, Ipod, Nintendo DS and all other things a seventh grader needs to stow away safely and secure these days. On the weekends, he has been using the backpack for hiking and camping when he goes out with his outdoor group and its seems to handle clothes and supplies for a two day trip which is good for me because I didn’t have to buy an additional backpack when he joined his outdoor group. Also, he says it is pretty light and comfortable when he is toting it around school and on mountain trails. I think it is decently priced and I like to keep in mind that I am also paying for the brand of The North Face, which is known for being high quality."

Back to Basics Pack
REVIEWED BY: NICK 2012-05-28
"TNF Vault Daypack is a decent back to basics type of back pack. I needed a back pack for college that didn’t have a billion pockets and straps but still quality to hold heavy books and gym clothes. The Vault is ideal. Moderately priced. Big enough to hold a laptop, some books and some clothes. Comfortable to wear around between classes and straps in good to bike around with. "

"I seriously take this pack everywhere. I really like the carry handle on top and all the space inside. It beats carrying a purse, that's for sure."
