"The North Face Surge backpack is ideal for the modern college student. This thing can take a beating and keep on ticking, top notch durability. You can adequately and securely pack in a laptop, there is a slip for iPad, a main compartment for books and power cords, lunch, frisbee, phone, keys, etc. Shoulder straps are easily adjustable and carrying around heavy loads isn't that big of deal."
Fabulous Travel Pack

"The Surge II is awesome if you travel a lot. I have to fly at least twice a week and its always for a day or two. This backpack is a great substitute for a suitcase. Heavily padded to protect your lap top and ipad, great design for maximize space, and easy to organize my essentials. You can stuff this pack with at least a few days worth of close, plus misc items. Also, great just for an everyday pack to wear while cycling or out and about. "
