The NFZ pant from The North Face is the ideal pant for alpine and cold weather backcountry adventures. The outer material is 75D GORE-TEX 2 with synthetic PrimaLoft One insulation. The outer fabric is waterproof, yet breathable and fully seam sealed for reliable protection from the elements. PrimaLoft insulation provides warmth without a lot of bulk and is lightweight and compressible for easy packing. North Face designed the NFZ with Thermo3D body mapping to provide strategic warmth. The NFZ Pants have a loose-fitted shape which keeps loose fabric out of your way but lets you move without restriction. The adjustable waist tabs, belt loops and cuff-zip gussets let you personalize the fit. The NFZ Pant uses RECCO reflectors. The RECCO avalanche system is used by more than 600 organizations worldwide and helps in efficient locating in the event of a burial. The NFZ also has kissing welt WR zip hand pockets and polyurethane zip cargo pockets with LoftLift System, and stretch gaiters with gripper elastic to block out snow and wind. Every ascent starts with the right gear and even the biggest hot shots still put their pants on one leg at a time.
