Great Snowboarding Jacket
REVIEWED BY: TERRYWG 2012-07-02
"I like it! Quality, durable, windproof, and will keep you warm and dry on some of the coldest days up at the mountain, The North Face Mountain guide jacket is pretty cool. It has nice inside pockets for cell phones or mp3 players. Good jacket to wear while snowboarding back country or off the beaten path in deep powder. The hood fits well if you wear a helmet. "

Thumbs up!!! Another TNF Champ

"I’ve had The North Face Mountain Guide Jacket for a few years now and I have no complaints. It is definitely waterproof, wind proof and durable. It will keep you warm and dry in wintry conditions. I mainly wear my jacket while snowboarding and the hood fits nicely around my helmet. It’s a decent jacket for deep powder, due to its length and powder skirt. I am a rather tall (6’3”) and lanky guy so it is nice when a jacket doesn’t get jacked up while I’m shredding through some deep powder. Thumbs up for the pit zips. Also, thumbs up for the internal zip pocket feature. It is perfect for my android and iPod. I think for the price I paid it is well worth it. I have had it for a few snowboarding seasons and it is still going strong. I have worn it on a few mountain climbing expeditions and the thickness of the material around the jacket seemed to do well against the pressure of straps and ropes and I haven’t noticed any wear and tear in those high traffic spots. I highly recommend this jacket for those who like to have extreme adventures out in the mountains. "
