  Great lightweight but warm jacket

"I was going back and forth between the metropolis parka & the arctic parka so I ordered both. I plan on using the parka for shoveling, watching outdoor sports and general daily use. I live in WI so it can get pretty cold here. I liked both parkas, but in the end chose the metropolis. The arctic parka was definitely warm, but was on the heavy side and the shape was a little bell-like. The metropolis felt so much lighter, but still felt warm. I've used it now for a few weeks and love it. I'm a size 16 and ordered an XL, which fits great."

"The parka at first did not look anything like I had pictured. I had never seen it before to decide my purchase. I bought it purely by the wonderful feedback given by others. It seemed too lightweight for my taste since I get cold very easily. Oh Boy, was I wrong...I love it...600 down fill for a reason. I wore it for the first time and I was overly warm within minutes. The North Face rocks...my whole family chooses it for its over the top quality. Worth every penny spent...great price and the fig green color is just beautiful. Thanks US OUTDOOR!"

"Love this coat. I would suggest trying it on in a store first to make sure you get the right size. My north face fleece is a size medium but in this jacket I wear a size small. "

"I had wanted a longer coat for years and I finally got the Metropolis Parka. I love this coat. The 600 fill down keeps me perfectly warm no matter how cold it is outside. I like that this jacket is also windproof and that the hood snaps off when I do not need it. "

"Just received my North Face Metropolis Parka. It's awesome! I had read all the reviews I could find on other down filled coats and decided to order a S in black from someone else. I'm 5'3" and 115 lbs. It was thin and very baggy. After I returned it I saw the Ivory in an XS from USOUTDOOR at a much better price. It was fuller and fit perfectly. Great service too!"
