The Best Down Jacket with a Hood
REVIEWED BY: CLEVELAND 2013-03-17
"One of the best down jackets with a hood I've ever owned. Maybe the best. With a base layer on it's kept me warm on -10 cold days."

"Just got mine in the mail today. I love it. I ordered this coat with the free shipping and not having to pay the 4% New York sales tax was nice too."

Coolest Jacket!!
REVIEWED BY: CASEY MATSUN 2012-10-16
"I'm not sure why TNF named this jacket Gotham, but it is helluva cool jacket! Awesome to wear while snowboarding, or hiking up the mountain in snowy conditions. Keeps you real warm, and dry. And the fuzzy hood is pretty rad. But really this jacket is about style. Perhaps the coolest jacket I have ever scene. Wears good around town in the winter and makes you look cool when you hit the scene. "

Super Warm JAcket
REVIEWED BY: YANKEESFAN4LIFE 2012-10-02
"They should rename this jacket from Gotham jacket to the Super Warm Jacket because that's what it is."

Cold Weather Favorite
REVIEWED BY: ANDY G. 2012-08-06
"This jacket without a doubt is my favorite jacket for any cold weather activity. It keeps me warm through and through, without being heavy or bulky. The pockets are deep and ample enough to carry all that I need on any outing. It is stylish enough to wear just about anywhere I am going. "

My winter Jacket!!!
REVIEWED BY: JEREMY_D87 2012-07-28
"I just bought The North Face Gotham Jacket this summer and only had a chance to wear it a few times while I was up in Denali National Park in Alaska. But I have to admit it is super comfortable and very warm. It has a nice stylish look to it and is definitely going to be my winter jacket for the mountain and around campus."

Vermont Approved!
REVIEWED BY: ZACH 2012-04-03
"Wore this jacket all winter in Vermont and it kept me very warm in some hardcore sub freezing temps. North Face Gotham is another quality TNF product. The white one looks like the jackets the rebels wore on Hoth in the beginning of Empire Strikes Back. It is hella of cool and stylish. The fur looks cool but I’m not sure if it keeps you extra warm. I don’t snowboard but this jacket would be awesome for up at the mountain. "

Never Cold
REVIEWED BY: MICHAEL A. 2012-02-06
"I picked up the Gotham Jacket before I headed to a friend’s place near Whistler last December and I could not have been happier or warmer. This jacket is perfect for cold weather. The Gotham jacket has tons of room in the pockets for my wallet, gloves and just about anything else, I needed to take along. I'd say this down jacket has been the perfect addition to my Canadian winter wonderland frolicking."

TNF Gotham Jacket
REVIEWED BY: MICHEAL R 2012-01-18
"The North Face Gotham jacket is the best down jacket ever. I was never a big fan of Down coats because they are always poofy and bland looking, but the Gotham has a cool style, nice cut, and is really comfortable and warm. I like all the pockets and somewhat military look to it, plus the fir hood is pretty cool too. "

James Bond Style Jacket
REVIEWED BY: EDDIE 2012-01-03
"I got the The North Face Gotham Jacket as a gift. I am usually pretty particular when it comes to jackets, however I think I lucked out on this one and I am grateful to my mom for this purchase. First off, you can’t beat the style of this jacket. It has a smooth, militant, James bond style—think James Bond in View to a Kill with Roger Moore and Christopher Walken. I am talking about the intro scene that showed snowboarding for one of the first times. I have the fig green one, which is pretty cool. I usually burn hot and sweat if I am wearing too many layers or when I wear jackets that don’t breath. I haven’t had any problems sweating with this jacket and I usually just wear a t-shirt or long sleeve underneath. I have worn this jacket in temps as low as 15 degrees and I have been plenty warm. I also like how you can remove the faux fur trim on the hood. Sometimes it is cool to have sometimes it is good to take it off, I like to have the option. Plenty of pockets to stow away all your items, which is another plus. "

Gotham Jacket
REVIEWED BY: TEDDY_C88 2011-11-15
"I admit, at first I thought I looked like an Eskimo wearing this jacket, especially with the furry hood all snitched up. But actually this jacket is really cool and is keeps you extremely warm. I hang out it some pretty cold spots while hiking or snowboarding in the winter and this jacket has always kept me warm and dry. Excellent breathability. The hood and the optional removable fir shield your face from the wind and keep your face warm. It has a lot of pockets for about anything you need to have on you while shredding down a mountain. It’s a real stylish armyish jacket with the typical North Face quality. 4 stars!! "

The North Face Gotham Jacket
REVIEWED BY: RAIDEN 2010-11-03
"I went to Alaska for about a month and pretty much kept this on the whole time. I like the faux fur around the face, it really kept my face warm and dry. If you are traveling to a super cold place, this jacket is a necessity. "

Wicked Jacket!!
REVIEWED BY: IVAN 2010-03-25
"I got the North Face Gotham Jacket last season. I wore all winter casually around town and up at the mountain when I was snowboarding. It is the warmest and most comfortable jacket I have ever worn. Not only that but the thing looks cool and has hella style. The whole militant Russian style thing is wicked! North Face never disappoints. "
