"My favorite jacket for hiking in has to be the Freedom Jacket. This coat is lightweight, waterproof, windproof, pack able, durable and does not restrict movement. It is comfortable and easy to wear on and off the trail. I could not ask for a better-constructed jacket. It fits in perfectly with all my hiking activities. "

"I have gotten many miles out of this jacket and I fully intend to get many more. The Northface Freedom is perfect for climbing, hiking or just hanging out around camp. Lightweight, durable and comfortable I really could not ask for anything more. This coat wears really well under pack, or when I am in harness. "
