The Elemot Jacket by The North Face is a waterproof and breathable jacket designed for skiers and snowboarders. Its GORE-TEX® shell is incredibly durable and protective, and it also features fully sealed seams to prevent leaks. Designed for cold days, the jacket has 100g PrimaLoft® Eco filler insulation for superior warmth. It keeps your body heat in, while allowing sweat to evaporate away from the skin during intense activity. At the same time, core vents prevent overheating during intense activity.
Other features of the Elemot Jacket include rider-specific storage, such as a bicep utility pocket containing a goggle cloth, an internal media security pocket and an internal utility pocket. Its adjustable fixed hood is compatible with a helmet, and the jacket has a durable VISLON® center-front zip. The zipper is covered with a flap to prevent drafts and moisture leaks. A powder skirt, adjustable cuff tabs and compatibility with The North Face Pant-a-locks system keep powder from getting into the jacket during falls. The Elemot also has a Recco® avalanche rescue reflector to keep you safer when riding in the backcountry.

REVIEWED BY: SKI UTAH FAN 2013-02-23
"This jacket has got some nice features and is very comfortable--not too heavy, not too bulky. The sleeves feel a bit long, but the velcro helps with adjusting the length. I am 5'3" and got the medium. I prefer the 2012 version of the jacket with the vents on the sides rather than on the front of the jacket on the 2011 version. TNF makes great, quality products that are durable, good looking and well thought out. "
