Denali "Thermal" jacket different than the Denali Jacket

"I didn't realize when I placed the order, that this "thermal" jacket is not the Denali Jacket. This is a zip-in layer for other jackets or a lighter jacket. Thus, I ended up returning it. This being said - if I needed a lighter layer jacket, it's a really nice. Extremely soft and fuzzy. Sizing was perfect. I was looking for something warmer. "

"My daughter has been wanting a North Face for a while. I'm not sold that this will be as warm as she thinks but it is very comfortable and was a great price. I've seen them MUCH more expensive elsewhere. It was a tad on the big side. "

"The Denali thermal was my Sorority’s official Jacket. Every girl in my sorority at U of O had one and wore it pretty much every day. It has been some time since I have been in college and my original was lost years ago. I bought my new one a few months ago and it is just as comfortable and fabulous as my original. It is perfect for those winter sunny days or to wear while watching the Ducks at cold games at Autzen. "

"You can’t go wrong with The North Face. Everything that I have purchased from The North Face has never disappointed me. The Denali Thermal is no exception—this jacket is lightweight, super soft and cozy and will keep you plenty warm during cold fall and winter days. I live in the high desert of Oregon where it doesn’t rain too much, but it does get pretty cold. This jacket is perfect to wear while taking brisk morning walks, hiking on those awesome sunny but frigid winter days, casually while running errands around town, or just lounging by a fire at a camp out. You can wear it alone or as an under layer to a compatible zip-in shell. It is probably not the best to wear in a rain or snow storm, but does zip in to my North Face shell which is awesome. Also, if you encounter some windy conditions I would recommend carrying along a light wind breaker shell to wear over, the fleece isn’t too wind resistance. I'm 5'5" and 120lbs. and the small fits me perfectly. Great style and is a great fleece, I recommend it for sure. "

"This is my go to fleece jacket for absolutely everything. It does not matter if I am walking the dog, yard work, hiking, hunting for the perfect jack o lantern or watching the boyfriend during his cycle cross race, my North Face Denali Thermal jacket is with me always. It is durable, comfortable and warm. "

"I love my Denali thermal! This is my third Denali thermal I have purchased. Once they are broken in they are so comfortable, really soft, and keep you really warm and pleasant. I pretty much wear mine everyday from November to March. I mainly wear it for my daily morning walks, but it is great for camping or hiking out in the great outdoors. I love how it is lightweight, but at the same time keeps you warm in moderately cold weather. Under 20 degrees I would recommend more layers. If you get stuck in a moist and cold situation it zips nicely into a North Face shell, which is kind of cool. "
