Great for Bike Commuter

"The North Face Borealis Backpack is pretty cool. I was in need of a backpack that could securely hold my laptop, lunch, and gym clothes while commuting via bike to work, gym and home. This backpack is definitely North Face quality and durable and has a nice designer look to it. The padded laptop pocket is pretty awesome. It fits my 15” laptop perfectly. With a nice sternum and waist strap this backpack fits nice and snug on my back with good breathability as I weave in and out of traffic on my bike. I love how I can ride 5 miles with it strapped on my back and I'm not soaked underneath when I get to work. It’s also good for little day hikes or toting books around town or snacks for a light picnic. It doesn’t seem as large as a standard backpack, but with its little compartments and sturdy water bottle holder it gets the job done. I recommend it—especially to anyone that uses there bike as their main source of transportation. Extremely satisfied!"

"I purchased this pack for my son’s first year in high school. I wanted to make sure he would be able to carry all his books without straining his back. I have seen some of the other kids packs they have absolutely no support or enough room. Since the Borealis backpack is from The North Face, I know that he will get years of good use out of it. "

"This bag does holds my 17" laptop so it's perfect. I use the bungee straps on the front to hold my hoodie and it frees up all the room inside for my other stuff. It helps keep my stuff organized with the pockets inside. "
