The Aleutian 3S (three season) BX fits easily into a backpack—regular size has a trail weight of 3 pounds 2 ounces, long, of 3 pounds 6 ounces—then, when sun falls and its time to set up camp, the Aleutian slips from its roll-top stuff sack and unrolls to either 6, or 6 ½ feet.
This sleeping bag is shaped for a woman, with more subtle spacing at the shoulder, and additional room at the hip. And not only shaped for a woman, but also insulated: chest and toe-box areas are fitted with additional Heatseeker synthetic insulation. Easy grab zippers, and hood and chest adjustable draw-cords add to the already snug-making features of this 20 degrees-rated sleeping bag.
The Aleutian 3S BX keeps you not only warm, but also protected, with a long-lasting shell of soft rip-stop nylon. The North Face has included an internal watch pocket to keep personal items safe and easy to find in the morning.
