The Nitrous Jacket by Mountain Hardwear keeps you cozy with lightweight 800-fill Q.Shield™ down. This filling has a low, non bulky profile and it insulates even when wet. To keep the down in place, the jacket has a quilted design with a flattering angled pattern. The filling is not only extremely lightweight, it is also highly compressible. The jacket can stow inside its own pocket for easy packing. Two front handwarmer pockets keep your digits warm and provide extra storage space. Additional features include dual drawcords at the hem and elastic cuffs to keep cold drafts out. Last but not least, the jacket is made from ripstop material, so it can hold up to any adventure.

"The style of this jacket is perfect- flattering to the female figure. I particularly like the slight fit at the waist and the length. The description led me to believe it would be warmer. In 30 degree weather with a thin sweater on underneath, I was cold. It will layer well so I will have to use it that way. I could wear more layers underneath or another jacket over. Based on other reviews, I paid too much ($175) for a jacket that won't keep me warm in cold weather. I wanted black so perhaps that's why I could not find it cheaper. "
