  Mountain Hardwear Monkey Man Jacket

REVIEWED BY: OUTDOOR GUY    5/23/2011

"This is a great piece of clothing. Perfect when you need to do layers. I just had the privilege of going on a week long snowmobile trip and this jacket kept my core warm the whole time."

"This is the single warmest piece of clothing I own. I do, however, have the half zip (or 1/4 or 3/4 or whatever; the point is it does not zip down fully) Pros: Very warm Great fit Very soft (every woman wants to touch . . .) Liner on inside of zipper (can be worm without an underlayer) Drawstring on neck prevents loose stuff (snow, leaves, needles) from entering Cons: Very warm (cannot wear while in aerobic activities, even down to 15F) Wears faster than other materials (the back can become matted after extended use sitting or with a pack) The thumb loop on my left hand has a stray thread that pulls tightly on the part of the hand joining the thumb and pointer-finger and that hurts Would I recommend it to a friend? Yes!"
