The first project for Marmot Club members, Eric Reynolds, Dave Huntley and Tom Boyce was a big one. 108 "very puffy" jacket for a little picture you might know, "The Eiger Sanction" with Clint Eastwood. Eric then became one of the first people in the US to see a new concept in outdoor performance, Gore-Tex. After that, things took off for Marmot and they have become a leader in outdoor clothing and equipment; their name synonymous with quality and durability. Some things never change: it is still all about the highest quality performance product.
