Nice idea, terrible execution
REVIEWED BY: WASATCHRIDER 2/04/2013
"I was excited watching the videos on the company's website - this seems like a great setup for quick changeovers in the backcountry. Unfortunately this is a very early stage company and they probably shouldn't be selling to the public yet. For $600, I expect to be able to unpack a product and install it for use. However, the design and manufacturing of these bindings is so poor that nothing seems to fit out of the box. Several adjustments need to be made to get the heel lock to work, but after doing so, none of the pins line up in the 'ride mode' configuration. The threads for some of the screws in the binding itself are poorly machined. I gave up trying to do the install and contacted a local reputable shop. They told me they can do the install, and are familiar with these problems. Apparently it is routine to have to file down certain parts of the binding to make it work as designed. I'm sorry, but for $600 I don't think I should have a shop have to do a garage hack to make them work. P.S. The company was generally very unhelpful in trying to solve these problems. They referred me back to the retailer, and unfortunately my 30 day return period had lapsed or I'd have sent them back. Bottom line, stick with the proven products and give these guys a pass for now. See if they are still around in a couple of years."
