K2 Pettitor Skis 2013
COLOR & SIZE:
In welcoming Sean Pettit to the pantheon of K2 pro riders, K2 has created the Pettitor to reflect Sean's style and panache. With big mountain free skiing in mind, K2 has set about designing a ski that will perform exceptionally well in deep powder, high speeds and those moments before you send yourself soaring through the air. With a Triaxial Braided Fir and Aspen Core, the Pettitor is stiffer than any other ski in the line for high-speed stability and superior landing cushion when coming down from an oversized cliff kicker.
In order to reduce swing weight and increase maneuverability, while also increasing the playfulness of the ski, Sean asked the K2 team to bring the contact points closer together. With that, the Pettitor features a incredibly wide 120 millimeter waist. In conjunction with this insane width, K2 has developed the Pettitor with their very own Powder Rocker system, where a fifty percent camber provides you with exceptional handling and edge hold, while the fifty percent rocker on either tip and tail result in an elevated profile for increased float and liveliness in deep powder.
