With all the forethought and technology going in to the A.M.P. Impact MX 11.00 TC ski, rest assured a day of skiing will never be the same. In effect, the Impact is a glass laminated ski with K2's patented Triaxial Braid construction. Additionally, the Impact features a carbon webbed reinforced construction for an increased level of torsional rigidity. A Focused Mass-Dampener interestingly enough named the MOD MONIC system provides focused mass-dampening at a targeted location with the help of a solid zinc mass working in conjunction with the Impact's MOD structure.

Designed for greater performance, the MOD structure is a High-Performance Suspension System, in that a secondary core atop the primary core absorbs vibrations and impact loads more effectively by transferring energy evenly along the entire ski. In conjunction to this benefit, K2 has designed the Impact with an All-Terrain Rocker system where in a seventy percent chamber in the center of the ski works to provide superior levels of edge hold in tight turns, while a thirty percent rocker on either tip and tail provide a raised profile of which increases float in powder.

"pretty stoked with my purchase! not much of a freestyler so I thought K2 Impacts would be perfect for my all mountain style. And of course they were. I have a blast strapping these skis on to weave though trees, float deep powder, bomb steep slopes, drop off a few cliffs, hitting some bumps here and there and just gently cruising down groomed slopes. "

"I'm just getting back in to skiing and boy have they changed. I thought my old K2 Extremes were top dog back in the 90's, ha. My K2 Impack skis totally blew my mind and hand me at first turn. Glad to get back to skiing. Very reactive ski, easy to control while skiing through deep powder and on groom slopes. Easy carving ability and nice smooth ride. Looking forward to getting back on the mountain. "
