Jones Solution Split Snowboard

The Solution Snowboard by Jones is a splitboard designed to take backcountry riding to the next level. This board has a directional rocker with traditional underfoot camber. The rockered nose has great float and maneuvering, while a less rockered tail prevents catching during landings and turn initiations. To ensure easy gliding in deep snow, Jones gave the nose a blunt tip shape. The overall cut of the board ensures excellent stability and power. On a 1 to 10 flex rating scale, the Solution has a score of 7.

To further ensure comfortable gliding, Jones gave the Solution Mellow Magne-Traction Edges. These edges are serrated like a knife to provide a smooth ride and superior grip. A full wood core made of beech and poplar gives the board solid snap. Lightweight carbon stringers create torsional stiffness and increase the lifespan of the board. A sintered base causes the board to readily absorb wax, providing a smooth ride and awesome impact resistance. Designed with environmental responsibility in mind, the core is made from ecologically-managed FSC wood. Recycled base material further reduces the environmental footprint, as does Flip Flop base graphic coloring.
