GoPro HD Hero3: Black Edition

The most advance GoPro yet, the Hero3: Black Edition is smaller, lighter and twice as powerful than the previous HD Hero camera, so you can capture every moment of your adventure and share it with your friends in cinema-quality video. The Hero3, weighing in at a scant 2.6 ounces, is 30 percent smaller and 25 percent lighter than the Hero2 without compromising on performance. The Black Edition is capable of capturing ultra-wide 1440p 48fps, 1080p 60 fps and 720p 120 fps video and 12MP photos at a rate of 30 photos per second.


Unlike its predecessor, the Hero3: Black Edition comes with built in Wi-Fi compatible with both the GoPro App and the included Wi-Fi Remote. Video performance has 2X the resolution and 2X the frame-rate than the Hero2 and delivers better performance in low light. The camera also takes photos 3X faster than previous models, capturing photos at a staggering 30 frames per second. The Black Edition has improved sharpness thanks to a redesigned flat-lens waterproof housing and offers ultra-wide, medium and narrow field-of-view choices. The Black Edition will capture subtle, natural sounds, such as voice and music, and immersive sounds, like sports. It also comes with GoPro’s wind-noise reduction technology so your passion will be heard loud and clear despite the wind. The Black Edition includes a rechargeable Li-ion Battery, various mounts and buckles, Wi-Fi Remote with charger and USB charging cable.
