The innovative Garmont Axon combines the most aggressive alpine freeride performance with the easy touring of the TECH* binding system. The Axon is as stiff and responsive as the best alpine boots, powerful to arc the biggest skis, and as mobile as the best ski mountaineering boots. The Axon lower shell has an internal “zeppa” for warmth and cushioning. The shell has been reinforced with thicker walls in key stress areas, rather than using inserts, to keep weight to a minimum.
