The Schnozzle has a funny name, but illustrates something called the Exped System. It hooks between two Exped products and make the whole system function together really well. The Schnozzel allows for any stuff sack that has a purge valve on it to be connected to any Exped mat, turning it into a pump sack for mats that don't have a built in pump. If you're at high altitude save precious breath, or if you're inflating many mats it's a downright necessity, unless you're keen on blacking out. Imagine that, blacking out while blowing up your mats at camp, leaving yourself wide open to attack from rabid bears and possums. Despite its funny name, the Schozzel just might save your life!
