Background: A product of Colorado, Sami began learning the ways of the force (skiing) from her uncle who spent a vast majority of his time in the backcountry of Steamboat Springs. She carried that knowledge through university, balancing college courses with skiing and a budding career in the outdoor industry. Soon after college, Sami made the pilgrimage to the Pacific Northwest, landing at the U.S. Outdoor Store where her drive for all things outdoor and unique sense of humor instantly connected with the culture.
Lightweight, high-performance, and overall bada$$. The Cho Oyu's skinny waist (~88) and wide tips help them perform best on firmer snow, holding an edge like you wouldn't expect! They weigh around 2.6 lbs each, offering an exceptional uphill experience.

The rockered tips won't grab on the way down, while the carbon stringers add to the overall stiffness. These sticks aren't meant for long days at the resort, and shouldn't be used for such. I've been having a blast taking these all around Mt. Hood this spring and I can't wait to get back out on the Cho Oyu's!
