Burton's Malavita EST Binding replaces traditional underfoot materials with cushioning. The cushioning is softer under the center of the foot than along the edges, allowing a soft ride with stiff edges. This design also reduces the weight of the bindings while allowing the perfect combination of flexibility and responsiveness. Made from a 30 percent short-glass and nylon composite material, these bindings are very durable and playful despite a moderate amount of stiffness.

Burton often makes incredibly versatile items. For example, the Malavita EST comes with the brand's Living Hinge™ Hi-Back for adjustable forward lean and rotation, including a relaxed zero forward lean option. The bindings also work with any type of stance, making them great for a wide variety of skill levels and styles of riding. Durable buckles provide smooth ratcheting and easy-to-use levers. Besides providing an excellent ride, Burton also makes the bindings more environmentally friendly by using Re-Ground Materials.
