Burton's AK 3L Freebird Snowboard Jacket is one of the lightest and most advanced snowboarding jackets on the market today. Made with GORE-TEX® Pro Stretch 40D Ripstop Fabric, this jacket is incredibly durable and protective. It keeps water out with GORE-TEX® and fully taped seams, while also allowing excellent breathability. YKK® matte water-resistant zippers prevent leaks, drape nicely and have excellent durability.
The cut of the Freebird Jacket gives it an articulated fit to allow easy freedom of motion at the body's natural movement points. The materials also allow the jacket to be extremely lightweight and packable, making it great for hiking, backpacking and travel. Other features of the 3L Freebird Jacket include bellowed zippered chest pockets to provide room for climbing skins, reflective detailing and a waist gaiter. The jacket is also compatible with Burton's jacket-to-pant interface, which secures the jacket to snowboarding pants to prevent snow from getting inside at the hem. Burton feels so sure about the performance and lifespan of this item that it sells it with with a lifetime warranty.

"This jacket is incredible. I know the price is a little on the higher side but I think the Burton 3L Freebird snowboard jacket is well worth. It feels like you are wearing battle armor that weighs nothing. This jacket is super lightweight, comfortable, it will keep you dry and cozy in a harshest of conditions. Perfect for hiking or backcountry snowboarding in a blizzard. I gave it four stars because I wish had more pockets. "
