Burton GMP Thatcher Snowboard Jacket

Burton's GMP Thatcher Jacket is one of a select few exciting environmentally-friendly snowboarding jackets on the market. The exterior of the jacket is made with three-layer hemp ripstop fabric, which is modified using DRYRIDE Eco-Nanoshell 2L technology. This technology gives the fabric hydrophobic fibers to cause water to bead off - without using any harmful chemicals. It also uses recycled Mountain Dew bottles to further increase its ecological benefits. Fully taped seams prevent leaks for even better waterproofing in extreme conditions.

Designed with Burton's Men's Mid Fit, the slightly-tailored Thatcher looks just as good on the slopes as it does on the street. The jacket is also articulated at the body's natural points of movement for excellent mobility and performance. A removable contour hood makes it easy to see, even when standing sideways on a snowboard. Other features include an internal stash and music pocket, a rollover ribbed collar and a waist gaiter. The Thatcher Jacket is also compatible with Burton's jacket-to-pant interface, which keeps snow from going up the back during falls and intense weather.
