Part of the Burton Family Tree 2013 series of special free ride boards, the Con Artist was inspired by the deep powder that prevails in parts of Japan. That, and trees. It is best suited for intermediate to advanced riders, and those who spend lots of time in the deep woods.

It is amazing what goes into making an amazing snowboard like the Con Artist. Prominent features include the S-Rocker, which gives you rocker from nose to front foot, and camber between your feet. This provides maximum float and stability through the densest of powder. The Con Artist's shape also helps with stability and maneuverability.

The Burton Con Artist has the quality you expect from Burton, which has been in the business of making snowboards since 1977, ancient times in snowboarding history. The Con Artist has a Dragonfly wood core, with carbon highlights that help keep it floaty light. And of course like much much of the Burton line, this board is made with Infinite Ride, which means it is already broken in, along with a sintered base that makes wax stick like glue.

The Burton Con Artist is perfect for riders who specialize in deep powder terrain, or those who feel it is time to test their mettle with a new a whole new type of ride.
