Cold and wet, a Yeti’s natural habitat is a pretty inhospitable place. Driving snow and howling wind is the norm deep in the alpine where this mythical beast resides. When designing the Burton [ak]™ Yeti Glove for riders like Frederik Kalbermatten, Jussi Oksanen, and Jeremy Jones, we had to make sure that this woolly fleece-lined glove could live up to the meanest conditions, while remaining supple enough to not hinder hunting and foraging (or strapping in and shoveling). To combat the elements we used Guaranteed To Keep You Dry® GORE-TEX® materials. Internal wizardry includes GORE® XTRAFIT Technology to keep the liner locked in place when removing your hand from the glove. Taking cues from pro football, the Pittards® Oiltac Leather Palm stays extra grippy by maintaining a reservoir within the leather to continuously replenish grip.
