Description: Boreal Blade Climbing Shoes
Asymetrical shoe with a slight down curve at the toe. Due to the rigidity at the toe it offers positive support on all types of foot holds. Precison and fit defines this model. Perfect for sport climbing and bouldering where a low profile toe is required for small pockets and edges.

"Just putting these shoes on you can tell that they are very well constructed. I feel they are durable, and you will be able to have at least a few resoles with them if you do that. Just for reference these shoes run a little small. I wear a 9.5 US street shoe, and ordered these in a 9.5. I feel these shoes run a little narrow as well. I have a medium width to wide width foot, so this might affect it a little. Though my toes are between fairly curled and extremely curled, they are not really painful on the foot. Just extra uncomfortable. I think it would be better to have toes flat or very slightly curled in these shoes so smearing can be achieved. Remember they are canvas lined, so they don't stretch really at all. I hope they will conform to my foot though. Looking back I probably would have gotten a 10(because of my wider foot and how curled my toes are), but I don't want to pay for return shipping again. Not cool... I will probably use them for single routes or boulder problems, or I might just take them off after each climb. The rubber seems to be decent. I like the look of them too; they look a lot better in person in my opinion. All this considered... Size right, keep the rubber clean(which Boreal recommends), and they will be a comfortable, durable, trusty shoe... possibly a new favorite in your shoe quiver."

"This shoe is the best I've used. The are extremely stiff to start out, but get better after continued use. The heel is unstoppable. Also, this so is a beast on small precise footing. You can stand on a dime. I would recommended this shoe to anyone. I just bought my second pair. First pair lasted 6 months after climbing 4 times a week.I wear a 10 us street shoe and Got a 10 us on this shoe and its tight. Also these shoes really don't stretch all that much."
