For Winter 2012, Osprey brought the Karve 11 and Karve 16 to the party. The Karve offers low-profile style with a great functional design. The Karve is suited for skiers and snowboarders alike and features a carry system for either. The folks at Osprey are just like you, always in the backcountry, so they know what features you need in a pack. The Karve features an insulated hydration sleeve so you can concentrate on the ice you’re treading in and not ice in your water. The backpanel is thermo-sculpted, contoured, and made of snow shedding material. Made of 420HD nylon and 210 nylon double diamond fabrics, this pack is super tough and reinforced to stand up against metal edges and tools. To complete the package, Osprey designed the Karve with an avalanche probe sleeve and shovel handle sleeve. All in all, the Osprey Karve is the perfectly sleek solution to your quest for a backcountry pack.
