Arcteryx Stingray Jacket

Description: Arcteryx Stingray Jacket

The Arcteryx Stingray jacket takes the bite out of rain, snow and all manner of foul weather, letting you stay out on the mountain longer. A lightly insulated shell with loads of versatility, the Stingray is warm, waterproof, windproof and breathable.

Arcteryx has updated the Stingray jacket with a new fabric called GORE-TEX Soft Shell, which is very durable but very forgiving, too. Other performance enhancing features include an athletic fit that runs a little longer through the torso, articulated elbows, underarm gussets and pit zips for quick ventilation. The Stingray jacket also has a helmet compatible Drop Hood with glove-friendly pulls, and quick adjusters at the hem and waist as well. Nothing has been forgotten here, not even the pockets, which include two hand warmer pockets, an internal chest pocket and the Arcteryx signature sleeve pocket, all with weather proof, laminated zippers.

One of the Arcteryx outdoor company's best selling performance jackets, the Stingray is stoked with some amazing features that keep you protected in a wide range of circumstances and activities. Grab the Stingray and head to the mountain with confidence.

  Comfortable, extremely well-made shell

"This is a great jacket for someone looking for a lightweight, breathable shell. However, it is definitely rugged enough for more serious use in cold weather if you like to layer up. The jacket is sized well, with slightly more room to accommodate under layers. "

  Best ever

REVIEWED BY: SCOTT T.    2012-04-23

"I wanted a jacket that would provide me with maximum rain protection and capable of being layered over another jacket when needed. It has to be durable, helmet compatible and have just enough insulation that I could wear it alone if I wanted to. The Arcteryx Stingray jacket definitely meets my needs. "
