Ten thousand feet up with the cold wind blowing in your face, you will be thankful Arctyrex designed the Sidewinder SV jacket for backcountry fanatics like you. This is a jacket with the toughness to take on the extremes.

The Sidewinder SV is made of N80p-X Gore-Tex Pro in a three layer construction that keeps moisture from seeping through but at the same time wicks moisture and perspiration away from the skin. New features to this year's version of the Sidewinder include an offset Vislon zipper to keep zipper stacking at bay, and a stretch powder skirt that integrates with Arcteryx performance pants.

Other significant features of the Sidewinder SV include an updated e3D fit that gives you total freedom of movement through the upper body, a Storm Hood that works compatibly with your helmet and lengthy pit zips that allow for quick ventilation on the fly.

The Arcteryx Sidewinder SV is a bit more of an investment, but rest assured, it is one you will not regret having made when it is 20 below and you are hung up in high winds.

  Awesome!

REVIEWED BY:    2012-03-05

"This jacket is incredible and worth every penny, I paid for it. The Sidewinder SV is comfortable to wear and moves with me. It's an Arcteryx jacket that is more water tight than a ducks ass. The hood fits easily over my helmet, and I think the offset zipper is great. For me it has everything I need in a great snowboard jacket.
