The best summer pants
REVIEWED BY: ANDY 2012-09-29
"This is my second purchase, this is for my father to buy.
The gusseted crotch, integrated belt, lightly fleeced waistband, lightweight stretch material, and great cut make the Palisade incredibly comfortable. You can pretty much put them on and forget theyre there (in a good way). The zip pockets let me hop on a bike without losing anything, but still lay comfortably parallel with my thighs.I recommend these Arcteryx pants for nearly almost any purpose, unless you need serious weather or physical protection. In that case find something thicker.I had no problems with sizing; I just checked myself against the sizing chart linked near the product price on this page."

"Great pants-hiked the Inca trail to Machu Picchu in them for for days--they keep you cool and dry really fast--just enough stretch and well placed pockets. They are expensive, but worth it when you have a multiday hike and want to travel light. "

The best choice for summer travel

"Picked up these Arc'teryx Palisade pants right before a hiking/climbing trip to Utah... they not only look and fit great, but more importantly they performed really well! In temperature swings from 50 degrees to 30's at the top they were comfortable, repelled the high winds on the summit and held up to some tough slides and scrapes while summiting...they were breathable enough to deal with a trail run down the mountain without getting sweaty... I would definitely recommend these!"
