Alpha dogs are smart and so is the Alpha SL ski and snowboard pant from Arcteryx. Made of new 340NR Gore Tex, these can be worn by themselves, over skins or easily tucked away into a backpack when not in use. In other words, they are lightweight, versatile and effective. The Alpha SL pant features a drawstring waist, articulated knees and extra room in the seat for a free range of movement, zippered leg vents for circulation, adjustable cuffs to keep out snow and tapered legs for keeping bulk to a minimum. All zippers are laminated WaterTight zippers, which resist snow and ice and never get snagged. When it comes to wearing smart ski pants on the mountain, the Alpha SL Pant from Arcteryx is the top dog. You will be amazed at just how many times you reach for it.

  Great length

REVIEWED BY: LS    2013-09-04

"I bought these rain paints for my husband who is 6'4". The length was great. We won't try them out until a trip to New Zealand later this year, but they were very light and will be very easy to pack for a 5 day hike."
